Haha! I get that a lot actually. I didn’t really decide to do ‘folk’ music as much as it just chose me. Singer/Songwriter is really the only category my voice fits well with. I listened to a lot of acoustic singer/song writer artists growing up - Tom Petty & Alison Krauss being the two that influenced me the most.
